Parenthood...

...we may say is an overwhelming experience for hubby and I. Every day is a journey. Every day has a new challenge and every day, we learn and discover things about the little one. First week was kinda easy, we’ve got helping hands for we stayed at hubby’s parents for a week. On the bubwit’s  2nd week and home at last, things are starting to be challenging. Hubby and I take turns in waking up to feed. Fighting off the sleepiness was the hardest part hehehehe. On our 3rd week, things are starting to be frustrating as the little bubwit is becoming better in crying and demanding. And I admit, I get irritated at times most specially in the wee hours of the morning. But later on, I feel guilty about it. It’s my duty, the baby can’t take care of himself and besides, it was us who decided to have this baby.

And here comes week 4…well, he’s getting  good in crying. Those pimples-like on his face are starting to clear up. And he was so adorable this morning when taking his bath…he got a new tub (gift from Tita Mimi) and it was only his 3rd time to be really submerged (after the belly button has a go signal) and he’s starting to love it. Though he still doesn’t smile but I can see it in through eyes…..splish splash!

Wonder what’s next in store for us in these coming weeks…nonetheless, frustrating it may be at times but the experience everyday is always wonderful.

Parenthood….what a trip!
